What a pleasure and surprise! We were walking from our hotel down the Calle de Alcalá on a sunny morning and found the Institute! We were enthralled with the collection of knowledge concerning Cervantes and especially "Don Quixote". The day we were there an exhibit of children's creative reactions to the book were on display.

I learned a lot during this little exhibition about Ramon J Sender at the Cervantes Institute. It is normally a language school but occasionally they present some exhibition. It this one they were a lot of text and images. If the civil war of 1936 means something to you you should have a look at this exhibition.

This is the Cervantes Institution. If you learn Spanish then you must have heard your local Cervantes Institution in your country. This is lets say its headquarters. =) The building is beautiful and very nice view up and down Gran Via. It is a very nice walk. Especially at night time when it is all coverd in lights.

The Cervantes Institute is a place to earn certification in Spanish language. The institute also has exhibitions from time to time.

This building is the headquarters of all the Instituto Cervantes around the world. Located in the center of the beautiful Madrid, the Spanish capital. Stunning.

I must confess, I was overwelmed by the greatness of this much esteemed establishment. Before you jump the gun and say, "itś too expensive", rest assured that the credentials earned here will do wonders for your cv and job, good luck. Oh, and of course, the staff are great there!
